Reducing the number and severity of road accidents, whatever the mode of travel (cars, motorbikes, cyclos, bicycles, motorised or non-motorised personal transport devices, walking) and the roads used (streets, roads, motorways): this is the associative project and the "raison d'être" of the Prévention Routière association, created in 1949 and recognised as a public utility in 1955. Today, the challenges of mobility also lead it to address all aspects of society, from ecology and social inclusion to well-being and health.
