Public Roads Authority in Warsaw

Public Roads Authority [Zarząd Dróg Miejskich] is a local goverment unit responsible for managing main roads in Warsaw, Poland. ZDM duties include upkeep, renovation and redesing of streets, extending bicycle path network, magaging city's street lights and traffic lights, operating Metered Parking Zone and Veturilo - public bikeshare system. In recent years there has been a significant shift toward safety-oriented goals, which results in a steady decline of road traffic casualties in Warsaw. To support Vision Zero implementation ZDM is also responsible for numerous studies, traffic analyses etc., as well as gradual introducion of "School Streets" in Warsaaw.
