In 1983, a number of pediatric surgeons decided to fight actively against the number 1 cause of death in children, the accident,
and established the "Austrian Committee for Injury Prevention in Childhood" in short, GROSSE SCHÜTZEN KLENE / SAFE KIDS AUSTRIA.
The office is located on the state hospital campus in Graz, hosted by the Department of Pediatric and Youth Surgery.
