The Association of Foreign Employees in Romania (AASR), established in 2023, is a non-governmental organisation dedicated to the legal, social and professional integration of foreign workers into Romanian society.
AASR works in cooperation with public authorities, diplomatic missions, employers and civil society to promote road safety, occupational health and safety, legal awareness, civic responsibility and preventive education.
Since 2024, AASR has organised multilingual training sessions in cooperation with the Bucharest Traffic Police and other public institutions, helping foreign workers understand Romanian traffic regulations and adopt responsible behaviour as pedestrians, cyclists, delivery riders and drivers.
Our preventive institutional cooperation model has also been included among the good practices published by the European Labour Authority (ELA) in 2026.
AASR aims to further develop and share practical educational methods that can be adapted and replicated across the European Union, contributing to safer roads, responsible employment and stronger community integration.
