Government department looking after all aspects of road safety in ireland, with responsibilities for private and commercial vehicle standards and testing, drivers licencing and testing, and legislative oversight on road safety, education projects and full time roadshows and demonstrations. My area is in child safety in cars. I manage the "check it fits" project, which is a full time public service which travels all over Ireland checking child seats, educating parents and guardians and educating retailers under the RSA code of practice for retailers.
