The LVA Vienna's main goal is to increase road safety, prevent accidents, and manage traffic flow. It monitors traffic violations, carries out targeted traffic checks, and takes part in nationwide prevention campaigns. A special focus is on traffic education, for example in elementary schools, as well as training police officers on new traffic laws.
