Describe your organisation
The Association of Responsible Mobility (ARM) – in Hungarian, Tudatos Közlekedők Egyesülete (TUKE) – was founded on the initiative of professionals who pay close attention to safe and conscious mobility not only in their work, but also in their everyday lives. The Association's primary aim is to implement and further develop road safety strategies, building on objective, professionally grounded positions.
Our strength lies in our diverse professional background: our members include a traffic engineer, an educator, a driving-technique instructor, a psychologist, a vehicle technical expert, a university lecturer, a lawyer, a PR specialist, a road safety auditor and a university student. This breadth of expertise enables us to approach road safety questions from multiple perspectives and with genuine credibility.
The goals set out in our charter centre on improving the safety of all road users. Our work covers preparing people for conscious mobility, education and shaping attitudes, improving road safety culture, and promoting the principles of environmental awareness and sustainable development. Through our programs we support the education system, organise road safety events, and formulate professional recommendations on the most important issues affecting road users.
We regard it as a priority to involve young people in the development of road safety, to support the professional growth of young experts, and to design and deliver interactive, experience-based activities – all in the service of the long-term, sustainable development of conscious mobility.
