Symeon Sakkas, CEng, MSc(Eng), CSM, RSATL™ Head of Road Safety RACE Consulting Engineers LP (www.race.com.gr).
Symeon is a holder of Master of Engineering Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Bologna, with the course concentration of Structural Engineering and he is registered in the Technical Chamber of Greece with Reg. Nr: 121813. He is also a holder of a Master of Science degree in Infrastructure Engineering Project Management from the (Hellenic Open University). Symeon is Currently Head of Road Safety at RACE Consulting Engineers LP, an independent regional boutique firm on transportation design and engineering, headquartered in Athens, Greece. As Head of Road Safety he is designing and building the team and the system in order to create value for the firm and the road users. Symeon is highly experienced in major infrastructure projects with a construction budget up to 3 billion $, as Designer, Consultant, Scrum Master. As associate to RACE Consulting Engineers LP, he has been involved in various infrastructure and transportation projects located in Greece and in the EMEA Region, (PPP and Public Sector Projects). Symeon Sakkas, of RACE Consulting Engineers firm was recognized as the first globally credentialed Road Safety Audit Team Leader by the International Road Federation IRF (https://www.irf.global/).
