Come Back Home (CBH) – Commitment to Road Safety and Sustainable Mobility

Come Back Home (CBH) is an innovative mobility startup based in Rome, dedicated to improving road safety and creating safer, more sustainable nighttime transportation. Our mission is to provide secure and affordable travel alternatives for young people, significantly reducing the risks associated with private car use and impaired driving during night hours.

Through a digital platform, users can pre-book seats on scheduled shuttles connecting major nightlife areas with residential districts. This system minimizes reliance on private vehicles, optimizes route efficiency, and ensures every trip is safe and monitored in real time. All vehicles comply with the highest safety standards, and operations are supported by professional drivers and 24/7 monitoring.

CBH commits to actively contributing to the European Road Safety Charter goals through measurable actions:

  1. Accident Prevention and Safe Mobility: We aim to provide over 100,000 safe rides by 2026, eliminating an estimated 30,000 private car trips during nighttime hours. Our service reduces exposure to alcohol-related driving by offering an alternative operating late at night in high-risk areas.
  2. Awareness and Education: We will launch at least six awareness campaigns per year focused on road safety and responsible mobility, using social media and university partnerships to reach young audiences. We will also integrate educational content on the risks of impaired driving within our booking platform and onboard screens by the end of 2025.
  3. Data-Driven Monitoring: We will collect and analyze service usage and safety data to measure impact, publishing an annual report on accident prevention and behavioral change among users. Findings and best practices will be shared with local authorities and European partners to foster collective knowledge on road safety.
  4. Sustainability and Shared Responsibility: We are committed to full fleet electrification by 2030, progressively reducing CO₂ emissions associated with nighttime travel, and promoting inclusive mobility to guarantee safe transportation for all social groups.

By joining the European Road Safety Charter, CBH aims to strengthen its role as an active contributor to the EU objective of halving road fatalities by 2030. Our goal is to build safer, smarter, and more sustainable urban environments, ensuring that mobility becomes not only a necessity but a driver of social responsibility.
