NE BLUZI, Z GLAVO KRUZI New initiative for safe micromobility

The increase in the number of traffic accidents and violations among e-scooter riders represents a serious challenge to traffic safety in Slovenia. We have identified the need to raise awareness among riders about the dangers associated with e-scooter use, promote responsible behavior among micromobility users, and take measures to improve traffic safety.

HAK continues “Golden Years” project for the elderly

The Croatian Automobile Club (HAK) continuously implements the “Golden Years” project intended for the elderly aged over 65, who actively participate in traffic throughout the Republic of Croatia. So far in 2024, two interactive sessions have been held in two Croatian towns Jastrebarsko and Karlovac, located in the vicinity of Zagreb.

While the elderly may be reluctant to give up the independence, comfort and other privileges that driving brings, statistical data shows that more and more elderly people die each year as a result of road traffic crashes.

After the pandemic, the number of lethal road accidents in the Province of Treviso has unfortunately increased exponentially and it doesn’t seem to decrease, involving not only vehicles but also pedestrians, bikers, and cyclists. Collected data indicate that young people under 30 are one of the most involved age groups in road accidents. From different points of view this is called “tragic anomaly” in the Province of Treviso.
