The Bicibus Hernals (bikebus) of the primary school Kindermanngasse in Vienna (17th district) is a school bus consisting out of bicycles, where children and parents discover the joy of biking on their way to school, giving them the opportunity to experience an active healthy and sustainable lifestyle first handed though their choice of mobility.
The Bicibus Hernals is the first bikebus in German speaking countries, which runs daily throughout the whole year without police escort and therefor displays biking for children under 10 as a normal and desirable way of active, healthy and sustainable transportation.
