Marijampole Vocational and Education Training center

Marijampole VET center was established in 2000. It is the biggest and the only Vocational educational and training center in the South of Lithuania. The main activity of the centre is vocational education and training of young people, but we are involved in adult (or unemployed) training and re-training as well. The center offers to get qualification of 26 training programs (cook, waiter-bartender, decorator, automechanic, land-reclamation worker, road worker, logisitic, mechatronics, warehouse operator and etc.). The center has Sectoral Practical Training and Agricultural centers. The main task of this establishment is to create possibility to teach using the newest technique and technologies. It is increases the accessibility of very high quality training services.The center provides a good opportunity to acquire A, A1, A2, B, C,C1, CE, D category driving license, code 95, tractor driver‘s and other qualification certificates. Marijampole VET center has been taking active part in international projects more than 20 years and has partners in almost all countries of the EU (Germany, Italy, Spain, Latvia, Portugal, France, Poland and etc.) and is a member of European Forum of Technical and Vocational Education and Training ( EfVET) and European Association of hotel and tourism school (AEHT).
