Albanian Road Authority is establish to administer the national road network in accordance with the provisions of the Road Code. The function of the Albanian Road Authority is to prepare and implement measures for the administration of the national road network, with special emphasis on the public interest in accordance with the Road Code and the Law about "Albanian Road Authority". The Authority, if it will be considered necessary, can fulfill its functions in cooperation with other participating institutions in the public road transport sector.
