Immer noch verunglücken die meisten Kinder als Mitfahrende im zumeist elterlichen Pkw – und nicht etwa beim Radfahren oder Zufußgehen. Vielen Erwachsenen ist auch nach 25 Jahren Kindersicherungspflicht nicht klar, warum und wovor sie ihr Kind im Auto schützen müssen, wie aktuelle passive Schutzsysteme funktionieren und anzuwenden sind. Zwar liegt die Sicherungsquote von Kindern als Fahrzeugpassagiere in Österreich bei weit über 90 Prozent, mit zunehmendem Alter steigt für Kinder jedoch das Risiko, unzureichend oder gar nicht gesichert im Auto mitzufahren. Untersuchungen zum Fehlgebrauch von Kindersitzen verweisen auf eine Misuse-Rate von über 50 %. Damit offenbaren die theoretisch möglichen Sicherungsmaßnahmen eine gravierende Schwachstelle: Den Faktor Mensch. Das beste Kinderrückhaltesystem hilfts nichts, wenn es nicht korrekt montiert, richtig verwendet und konsequent benutzt wird.

There is increasing awareness that medical fitness to drive - the impact of many medical conditions on fitness to drive - is a neglected aspect of road safety, particularly as there is evidence that appropriate medical advice can reduce crashes (1). We have shown in this project that medical fitness to drive is neglected in medical training (2) and also in a ground-breaking study that the general population show impaired awareness of medical fitness to drive (3). Our project aims to rectify this with wide-ranging activities to improve awareness among healthcare professionals and the general population, working with the Irish Road Safety Authority and the National Driving Licence Service.

The campaign is a response to the increased number of accidents on Polish highways. We strongly believe that by educating and raising consciousness, we help to save human lives.
It is also a continuation of the activities that Road Safety Centre in Łódź (CRBD) presented during the competition in 2016 and has been implemented jointly for 4 years (since 2018)
Safety, trust, health and support are essential in the changing demanding world. Compensa and CRBD wants to provide these values to all persons in our environment as an insurance company offering the best solutions and service standards, but also showing great responsibility, deep engagement and multidimensional care.
We believe we can make a change, through education and awareness. We can save lives.

5 tengelyen biztos kézzel !országos, felmenő rendszerű közlekedésbiztonsági vetélkedő a NiT Hungary és az ORFK-OBB közös szervezésében, az ORFK-OBB támogatásával
Az 5 tengelyen – biztos kézzel! közlekedésbiztonsági és vezetéstechnikai versenyünk ettől az évtől kezdődően a nemzetközi szintre emelkedik, mivel a verseny 2022-es győztese fogja képviselni Magyarországot a 2023-as év nemzetközi DAF Driver Challenge kamionverseny döntőjében.
Az „5 tengelyen - biztos kézzel!” kamionverseny nemzetközi színtérre kerülésével a szakmatársadalmi rangja tovább erősödik és a versenysorozatot létrehozó NiT Hungary elsődleges célja még inkább megvalósul: megtörténhet a szakmai és munkáltatói szempontból legjobban felkészült, járművét a legmagasabb szintű vezetéstechnikai tudással és legnagyobb biztonsággal kezelő magyar kamionsofőr kiválasztása, aki így a közlekedésbiztonság növelésében is hatékonyan részt vesz az utakon. A nemzetközi nyitás révén – a győztes versenyző és munkáltatója mellett – a verseny népszerűsége, presztízse is tovább nő.
