Telraam helps out citizens, resident groups and local governments who want to gain knowledge on traffic in their streets and want to improve road safety by tackling traffic challenges that have a negative impact on liveability such as rat running, speed issues or the negative impact of circulation measures. Telraam is an affordable, precise, objective and scientifically supported tool which provides an insight into traffic volumes, direction of travel and average speed of cars.

The main challenges:
Quality training in traffic safety for children from 3 to 7 years of age to acquire basic knowledge and skills for moving in an urban environment. Formation of skills for dealing with critical situations
Accidents in tunnels are characterized by a high intensity of impact on the environment and vehicles participating in the movement. The effects of such tears are great. In the case of the transport of dangerous goods, the lack of sufficient information may create additional, unexpected risks. Enabling the identification of dangerous goods entering tunnels can optimize risk management and aid decision making on progress.

CTT is the universal postal operator in Portugal. With a large fleet (4000 vehicles) and thousands of workers on the roads (12.000), with intense activity, there are many accidents, most of them only with material damage (about 1300 year), a significant part with personal injuries (447 in 2014 and 257 in 2021 ), injuries and some deaths, thousands of lost work days (17000 in 2014, 5316 in 2020 and 5913 in 2021) and consequences in terms of quality of service.
