Initiative details
We have created a School for Motorcyclists called GSSS in 2005 to avoid head-on accidents occurring mostly in our wonderful Mountain contests. We have implemented a precise Method base on theoretical + practical lessons. We implemented a complete learning path that leads Students from basic teachings to advanced learnings.

Project activities
Please describe the project activities you carried/are carrying out and the time period over which these were implemented.
We have implemented 5 types of courses for Mototrcyclists, according to their skill level. Each of them provides theory sessions and practical sessions. Each course finish with a certificate of the level reached.
Without taking anything away from the validity of all those initiatives that take place in areas closed to traffic, we at the GSSS Team believe that the most suitable environment for learning to ride your motorbike are mountain roads , with their real (non-replicable) dangers. in a protected environment) but also with their extraordinary suggestion. A GSSS Safe Dynamic Driving Course finds its greatest strength in the theoretical part aimed at finding the best mental attitude, i.e. the awareness of every motorcyclist, and is completed in a direct experience where the pleasure of riding the motorbike is transformed into greater security . The program , modulated so that the time is distributed optimally, alternates essential theory lessons in the classroom with practice on the road riding your own motorbike ; the program includes selected itineraries on beautiful mountain roads, dedicated educational materials and individual video recordings and lunches in typical trattorias. During the course, the introduction to the GSSS Method takes place according to a precise logical order that reviews the different aspects of motorcycle safety: mental attitude, body position and movements, braking, setting curves and trajectories, technical characteristics that distinguish the different models of motorbikes, individual aspects and group dynamics of riding a motorbike. The main focus of the courses is represented by the greatest possible safety and is related to each topic, from the conscious mental attitude, to the correct driving position up to the safest trajectory. Considering the results obtained, we can affirm that over the years the GSSS Method has continued to evolve into different typologies, demonstrating that it can offer at all levels - from the neophyte to the expert - indisputable advantages , both in terms of greater safety and mastery and therefore also pleasure in riding your motorbike. All courses offer one, two or three days on motorbikes on the most beautiful roads to fine-tune your riding style and treat yourself to a short but intense holiday on two wheels. At the GSSS School there are various types of courses from which to choose the one best suited to your needs: GSSS Classic, GSSS Classic2, GSSS Special, Gsss OnOff, GSSS OnOff OnTour, Gsss Personal Trainer.....

In terms of implementation, what worked well and what challenges did you need to overcome?
Our GSSS Team is composed of more than 30 Instructors (male and female) formed by our School and constantly updated. The great increase of new Motorcyclists riding without any teachings still remains a great challenge for us.
If you work together with external partners, list the most important partners and briefly describe their role.
We are affiliated to CNS Libertas , a Sport Promotional Organization of CONI.
We have also some Technical Partners providing motorcycling equipment for our Instructors

Evaluation
Please summarise how you have evaluated the initiative’s impact (e.g. social media reach, survey, feedback forms, statistics).
We usually got great satisfaction reviews from our Students, they are convinced of the utility of our courses to save their lives
(see google reviews and facebook reviews, 5 stars both)

What has been the effect of the activities?
We had more than 6500 Students since 2005, coming from Italy and Switzerland.
None of them had severe accidents after attending our course, some of them wrote that the GSSS course saved their lives!

Please briefly explain why your initiative is a good example of improving road safety.
Riding a modern motorcycle requires a specific training that no one gives you when you got the license: our School is the answer to this deficiency
How have you shared information about your project and its results?
We have published many articles on sector newspapers, described our mission on our site. Our Students collaborate with great word of mouth activity
