PKP Group Foundation was founded in 2013. The Foundation's mission is to deepen knowledge and awareness in the field of safe use of rail transport, promotion of new technologies and innovations for the railways, protection of railway goods of historical and artistic value, and also caring for the environment related to the railway. The Foundation also effectively solves social problems, consisting in providing safety on railway areas to people with limited mobility. In addition, it supports the education of children and youth and prevents the marginalization of various social groups, etc.
