The Student Road Safety Awards has been developed to provide 11 - 18 year old students in schools , colleges and youth groups across Coventry and Warwickshire to a) provide a road safety education facility and b) to enable the students to develop a road safety concept suitable for their area and age.
A short list of 4 then presents their concept to a panel of professionals involved in road safety who will then determine a winning entry.
This concept also provides the entrants with a range of life skills- Research, working as a group, presentation and developing a concept. Previous entrants have found that taking part has been a very useful addition to their cv.
