The company’s AI-driven platform, DriveWell®, gathers trillions of driving data points per day from millions of trips worldwide. It then provides a risk score to its partners based on the analysis of specific behaviours such as harsh acceleration, speeding, harsh cornering or phone distraction. Using this vast amount of aggregated data, CMT is also able to identify patterns of behaviour based on different vehicle types. Specifically, it can assess the risk of drivers in Electric Vehicles and Hybrids, in comparison with the average behaviour seen in internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles.
