Wasted Lives is a FREE programme delivering key road safety messages to new and soon to be drivers across Lancashire. Delivered by road safety faciliators from both Lancashire County Council and Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service, the programme has been running since June 2008 and has educated over 33,500 16-25 year olds about the potential consequences of speeding, using your mobile phone, not wearing seatbelts and drugs and alcohol. Using real life stories and interactive sessions, Wasted Lives has improved young peoples' ability to assess risks, make the right decisions and accept responsibility for their actions as drivers and passengers.
