The Department Chair is Cinzia Pellegrino. The Department in defence of violence Victims FdI-AN takes care of every citizens damaged in their basic rights as human being according to the Victim's definition in the Onu Convention of Vienna in 1985. This Department works at every level of society and politics through the diffusion of antiviolence culture, promoting flah-mob, sit-it, conferences and also bringing at Italian Parliament's attention all the safety regulations in order to introduce in Italian Codes rules which has the purpose to take care of Victime's and their relatives' rights. The Department has a national Victim's desk in Rome where people could ask support. Road Safety and road casualties are a priority for this Department. In order to introduce a real defence of road Casualties this Department has given its support to the introduction of road kill law in Italian legal system. We live in the convinction that road safety must be a way of life both for our Governament Institution and for every people.
