Road Safety Partnership works to improve road safety and reduce the number of road accident victims in Poland. From its inception in 2000 to 2006, it was affiliated with the National Road Safety Council at the Ministry of Transport. In May 2007, it was registered as an association and since then is an independent institution gathering representatives of three sectors of public life: business, government and non-governmental organizations. Members of the Partnership want to work together and contribute to reducing the number of people killed and wounded on Polish roads. The partnership is a member of the Global Road Safety Partnership (GRSP) in Geneva, i.e. an international organization working to sustainably reduce the number of road accidents in countries undergoing the transformation process. In Poland, the Partnership is under the patronage of the National Road Safety Council and the World Bank.
