eFlow Young Driver Safety Week is a national initiative to promote safe driving among young adults in Ireland. eFlow is encouraging senior cycle students from secondary schools around the country to host an event to encourage safe and responsible driving practices among their peers and community during the eFlow Young Driver Safety Week, beginning 12 May 2014.
As part of the initiative, eFlow is asking students to create a mock TV advert to promote safe driving practices. The best entry will be awarded a €5,000 cash prize for their school.
There were 190 fatalities on Irish roads in 2013, marking the first increase in year-on-year road deaths since 2005. Of this figure, the greatest number of fatalities were among those aged 16-25.
