CARISSMA, the Center of Automotive Research on Integrated Safety Systems and Measurement Area, is a scientific center in Germany focused on vehicle safety. Our test center houses ten advanced test facilities including indoor and outdoor areas for integrated safety systems, a driving simulator, and labs for energy storage and pedestrian protection. CARISSMA aims to conduct applied research to enhance traffic safety globally, collaborating with car manufacturers and research institutions. The ultimate goal is to achieve "Vision Zero," eliminating traffic deaths. Currently, on of our research project is focused on improving traffic safety in african continent (Project funded by the EU). The project is called TRANS-SAFE ( https://www.trans-safe.org/ )
