As a member within CIHT, I contribute to the delivery of high-quality, sustainable highway schemes that enhance Manchester’s infrastructure. My role involves providing technical expertise on Section 38 and Section 278 agreements of the Highways Act 1980, advising developers and planners to ensure all developments align with legislative standards and the city’s infrastructure goals.
My responsibilities include advising on highway design, including drainage systems and SuDS, to support a sustainable future, offering technical insights on kerbing, road surfacing, and construction phasing, including site supervision, ensuring permitted developments complement existing infrastructure while minimizing impacts, supporting the process for Stopping Up Orders under relevant legislation.
As part of a dynamic team, I am passionate about shaping Manchester’s highway network for future generations through innovative, sustainable, and safe design solutions.
