ARTRI is the National Association guaranteeing for the TIR Convention in Romania since 1965. Since then, ARTRI has been an active member of the INTERNATIONAL ROAD TRANSPORT UNION (IRU), Geneva.
ARTRI is a legal entity of private law, non-profit, established in a professional organization of community interest, non-governmental and independent having over 12,000 members, registered over the last 20 years.
One man, one car, one road - three elements of which only one is alive and able to react.
We can enhance the vehicle's performance, we can improve the road infrastructure, but the driver’s attitude remains essential. Therefore, road safety education will never become obsolete. On the contrary, it is necessary to become a permanent concern to all of us until, through repetition, we will be able to modify driving behavior.
