Public Transport Operators Union (PUTON) is a trade union registered in Kenya under the Labour Relations Act vide registration number TU/167 to represent the interest of informal Public Service Vehicles workers locally called 'matatus'. PUTON is the first trade union registered in Kenya to represent workers in the informal transport sector and we are concerned in creating road safety measures to our members.
