Since 2016, the Croatian Automobile Club (HAK) hosts an annual short film competition based on the 10 Golden Rules for Road Safety. The contest aims to foster road safety, as well as creativity and enthusiasm among young people and is open to contestants up to 24 years old.
Participants are tasked with creating a 15-second film of any movie genre that incorporates road safety visuals. This approach ensures that safety remains relatable and memorable for the youth, allowing them to express themselves and share their ideas as well as to promote responsible attitudes towards road safety.
The best films are chosen by a committee with representatives from the Croatian Radio and Television, the Academy of Dramatic Arts, the Ministry of the Interior, the Croatian Film Association, the production company Digimark d.o.o. and the Croatian Automobile Club.
Application is open until 30 April 2025.
