A symposium on "Traffic Safety on Roads" presents the latest findings from the road and traffic planning and traffic safety research.
Key areas include road safety in driveways to highways, the security implications of detailed designs plan the same junctions on roads as well as the recognition of roads in the draft classes 1 and 4 with new markings in accordance with the new guidelines for the design of rural roads (RAL). Also on the program are experiences with turbo roundabouts in Germany, curb cuts and soil indicators at crossing points, areas and limits the shared space principle as well as the accident between-turning motor vehicles and cyclists.
At the beginning of the Auditor Forum of Safety Award "The Accident Board 2001 - 2013" will be presented and the checklists for the review of interchanges and rest areas to prevent false trips.
