The 1st EPAL Kiatou is a vocational high school in the prefecture of Corinth in the Peloponnese.
This year's school students conducted a series of road safety awareness and education actions. In the road safety of pedestrian, cyclist, motorcyclist, car driver.
Our target was:
-to inform and raise awareness amongst pupils primarily and in the field of road safety
-the consolidation of the causes and consequences of traffic incidents
-the formation of informed road users.
Our school will seek to educate students on road safety in the context of creating responsible and active citizens.
We sought partnerships to achieve our targets.
We undertook the theoretical and experiential education of the students of all the Lyceums of our city and the High School of High School, with the Road Safety Institute Panos Mylonas.
We have also been active in the local community with the participation of citizens and small students.
550 high school students were trained.
We recorded and evaluated road trainees 'habits before and after our actions so that we can highlight changes in citizens' habits in a positive road culture.
We created promotional spots on the need for helmet use and alcohol avoidance by drivers. We participated in a Panhellenic Student Competition on "Road Safety: Joint Responsibility" winning the 1st Prize.
In the next phase of the new school year, education will continue in all of the country's schools.
