ALPHA Centre was established in Niksic, Montenegro on October 26, 2oo6.
The basic goals of this Organization are:
- Fostering Montenegro membership in NATO and EU
- Improving Road Safety in Montenegro
Since has been established, ALPHA Centre had realized 159 projects in the area of Road safety,
We are proud of 194 road traffic safety-relate lectures delivered to 97 rural, suburban and urban schools throughout Montenegro, as well as of 9 counseling sessions held with the in-country and regional institutions, 3 national conventions, 4 campaigns and a verity of 70 activities aimed at drawing the attention to and improving this area. We are placing particular emphasis on Saobracaj po mjeri Niksica (Niksic Tailored Traffic) and Siguran Korak (Safe Step), as well as on the Annual Campaigns on the slogans USPORI! (SLOW DOWN!) and Pusti neka zvoni! (Let It Ring!).
Besides, this year we have created the Web Site: USPORI.ME, the first one dedicated to traffic culture and road traffic safety in Montenegro.
ALFA Centre rent an office of 80 m² at address Serdara Jola Piletica 1, first floor, Niksic. It has two computers and two notebooks, one scanner /copy machine, internet, fax and telephone.
There are four Program coordinators:
- Traffic safety
- Youth program
- Local community programs
There is one Executive Director who is responsible person in organization. He has one Deputy Director, who is in charge of Office and Finance/Administrative issues.
There are one Office Manager and one Finance Administrative Manager.
