The Global Status Report on road safety 2023, developed by the World Health Organization (WHO), provides a complete overview of the progress made during the Decade of Action for Road Safety 2011 – 2020 and sets a baseline for the Decade of Action for Road Safety 2021 – 2030. It therefore describes the road safety situation in United Nations Member States and evaluates gaps in road safety nationally to stimulate actions. The aim of the report is to inspire research on road safety and to strengthen the network of individuals working on road safety around the world.
