What are you doing/aiming to do for road safety?

In order to contribute to a reduction in road accidents, Autoscuole San Cristoforo undertakes to organise free seminars and themed days for the public over the coming years. A minimum of two events will take place per year, in addition to two seminars. The commitment will take place over a four-year period.Local authorities will be invited to take part in the meetings, which will be held on premises made available by the authorities themselves or on driving school premises.
Themes:
Vehicle visibility (use of rear-view mirrors, rear-view mirror blind spots, paying attention to visibility when reversing, etc.).
Conduct at crossroads (priority at roundabouts, crossroads in general).
Overtaking.
Safe parking in built up areas.
Drive but don't drink, drink but don't drive (alcohol, fatigue, drugs, carelessness, underestimating and speeding are the main causes of accidents on the road).
Impact of an accident and social liability.
The consequences (to be avoided) of an accident:Illustration of the social and individual costs of a road accident (temporary or permanent disability, criminal sanctions with vehicle confiscation in certain cases).
The aim is to raise awareness among licence-holders (approximately 1,800 people per year).
