Publication ESRA Country Fact Sheets

ESRA (E-Survey of Road users’ Attitudes) is a joint initiative of road safety organisations all over the world. The aim is to collect and analyse comparable data on road safety performance, and in particular on road safety culture and behaviour. The survey contains questions on speeding, driving under the influence, distraction, use of seatbelt and driver fatigue and targets car drivers, motorcyclists, cyclists, pedestrians and e-scooter users.

The third edition of the survey was conducted simultaneously in 39 countries across 5 continents and collected data from more than 42,000 road users. The Country Fact Sheets contain the first key results of the survey per country for different road user groups and show the national results compared to the regional means.
