What are you doing/aiming to do for road safety?
The Greek Automobile club (ELPA) renews its commitment to the European Road Safety Charter for the next three years with the following actions:
1. Sponsor road safety related TV spots. These Spots will be broadcasted at regular intervals on public Greek television and will transmit messages related to road safety. The messages will be in the context of: Wear your seat belt, Mind the pedestrians and Wear your Helmet!
2. Sent out informative emails to all of our members and associates informing about issues related to road safety and the prevention of road accidents. As we are the largest and one of the oldest Greek car associations our list has more than 150 000 members who will be targeted by our informative emails. The material that will be included in these emails will also gradually form part of our electronic magazine. A magazine dedicated to driving in Greece.
3. Hold speeches in higher educational institutions. In these speeches, we will speak about the current situation of road safety in Greece and suggest ways and practices to improve it. These speeches will be held by experts in the field who are also members of our association. Speeches are delivered accorded to invitations by the institutions.
