What are you doing/aiming to do for road safety?
We will specifically take such actions that will enable us to increase awareness among our employees as well as among other port users of road safety and through these actions and awareness minimise road accidents within Cyprus.We have identified areas within the port that represent road safety concern and will therefore commit to the European Road Safety Charter with the following:
Within the passenger terminal/passenger crossing area we will install gates or movable traffic lights to ensure the safety of our passengers.
We will relocate the port petrol station to a more suitable area and create a small roundabout at the North West quay corner to facilitate safer access.
This action plan will be actualised after the first year according to evaluation for the following 2 years.
