Since 2006, AZT Automotive, Allianz Center for Technology, has been a member of the EU Road Safety Charter. For technical reasons, the membership was newly created in 2022. AZT is a center of competence for automotive research, to the Allianz insurance company. Automotive safety topics with regard to all fields of traffic and transport road safety belong to its work, including vehicle safety, active and passive ADAS, automation, HMI, new mobility and human behavior. Scientific outcomes are published with regularity and form the background for progressing safety demands in politics, industries, norming groups, and science. Guided by Allianz Communication, AZT frequently releases press notes on road safety themes. Beside research, educational advice, such as expert trainings, is part of its work.
