Describe your organisation

Public Primary School No 15 in Radom was established in 1899. At the beginning it was a private school. In 1917 it was given the patron – Władysław Syrokomla. In1937 the wooden building was replaced by the brick one. For several years from 1941 it was both primary and secondary school.
Nowadays it is one of the biggest schools in Radom. It is in two buildings: the first one in Kielecka Street and the second in Kierzkowska Street. There are 788 students and 90 teachers and other workers at the school.
The teachers work on different innovative programs and educational projects. They do it due to their motto: “We are here to help pupils develop themselves, broaden their minds, knowledge and interests as well as creativity and positive attitude. We want our pupils to use different ways to gain information and communicate with everyone in the world.”
Primary School No 15 in Radom is an active, creative and innovative school. Since 2005 we consequently take part in Comenius programs working together with schools in Portugal, Turkey, Italy, Estonia, Norway, Spain and the Czech Republic. We work on e-twinning program with schools from Greece and French Guyana. We were given many certificates, like: “Innovative school” or “School 2.0”. We take part in many competitions about the Road Safety and we are very successful in it.
We are sure that the earlier the pupils learn about how to be safe on a road the better. Due to it we cooperate with the Police Stations in Radom, “The Road and Safety Association”, local transport organizations as well as Wielka Orkiestra Świątecznej Pomocy.
We are proud that today we can add to allies the European Card of Road Safety.
