MA – Rusfri Trafikk (Norwegian Motorists Association) is a Norwegian voluntary, member-based road safety organization dedicated to eradicating driving under the influence (DUI). Founded in 1928, the organization has historically been a contributor and driving force behind groundbreaking safety reforms in Norway, including the implementation of the 0.2 g/l blood alcohol limit and mandatory seatbelt legislation.
Aligned with the "Vision Zero" initiative, MA – Rusfri Trafikk actively works to prevent traffic fatalities and severe injuries through a combination of political advocacy, nationwide awareness-raising campaigns, and grassroots community activities. By promoting a responsible, drug- and alcohol-free traffic culture, the organization remains a vital contributor to safer roads in Norway and the wider European community. MA – Rusfri Trafikk is also a member of the ETSC.
