The Automobile Club of Moldova is a republican, non-governmental, noncommercial, non-political, public association, founded on 14 August 1998. The ACM is an active member of the FIA (Federation Internationale de l’Automobile) since 2002.
ACM fights to raise a high road safety level in the Republic of Moldova. Thus, one of the main goals of the association is to improve the standards of road traffic, road signaling, obtain driving licenses, as well as to take measures for improvement of road safety and accidents preventions on public roads, environmental protection and other activities presenting interest for automobilism.
