Safe Driving Training: The Renaissance Traffic on the roads is our most dangerous daily activity, in association with our coexistence with the other road users. This has led the Driving School Giannoukas to put forward the Safe Driving Training methodology. With the term Renaissance we take a step further by training and regenerating regular drivers with a view to acquiring a complex and multifaceted set of driving skills.
MyLAC project - jointly conducted by the Vias Institute and FEVR was to gain a better understanding of the range of consequences of road crashes for injured #RoadVictims. Our results showed that about half of the victims that were not considered at fault did not go to court and that a similar proportion of them did not receive any compensation for neither injuries nor for pain and suffering.
The Country Seminar andWorkshop on the European Road Safety Charter(ERSC) was held with great success on Wednesday the 21st of March at the Amphitheater of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport: The event was organized by the Road Safety Institute (RSI) "Panos Mylonas", ERSC’s Representative in Greece, and held under the auspices of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport.
European Union Agency for Railways and the European Commissioner for Transport have recently invited members of different National Safety Agencies to Sign the European Railway Safety Declaration. Initiative was introduced in order to establish a positive safety culture or railways in Europe, while also encouraging the railway sector to be working closely together.
Declaration itself demonstrates the commitment of European railway leaders to raise awareness and promote a positive safety culture throughout the entire industry, in different European countries.
