Summer is coming, and with summer comes increased dangers in roads or railways. There are more children playing outside, drivers and passengers think about long-waited holidays and are prone to various distractions. Increased road and railway traffic coincides with a higher volume of traffic accidents.
The European Road Safety Charter workshop took place on Tuesday, 29 May 2018, at the Swedish Waterfront Congress Centre, Stockholm, Sweden.
The event was opened by Mr. Lars Olov Sjöström from Swedish Abstaining Motorists Association (MHF), the co-organiser of the event. Ms. Ylva Berg, from the Ministry of Enterprise and Innovation presented the Vision Zero strategy in Sweden, from its inception back in 1997, to its re-launch in 2016, as well as further developments planned to improve road safety in Sweden.
We are a group of traffic police officers interested in improving Road Safety. We want to have safer roads and reduce the amount of accidents and deaths. We spend part of our free time in helping drivers to solve their doubts about the Spanish Traffic Law, for that reason we created in 2015 a page on facebook where we write articles an answer doubts to the people who do not speak Spanish.
