En España, es a partir del año 1990 cuando se empiezan a poner las bases de la Seguridad Vial Infantil. A través del Real Decreto Legislativo 339/1990, de 2 de Marzo, por el que se aprobaba el texto articulado de la Ley sobre Trafico, Circulación de vehículos a motor y Seguridad Vial y el posterior Real Decreto 13/1992, de 17 de enero, por el que se aprobaba el Reglamento General de Circulación comenzaron una serie de normas tendentes a que los niños comenzaran a viajar con cierta seguridad en el coche.
The "Krakow roads without alcohol - Krakowskie Drogi bez Promili" campaign, organized by the Prodriver Foundation, took place in Krakow in the form of four events. The aim of the campaign was to promote social attitudes and encourage the Cracovians to oppose driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs in the context of road traffic.

As the summer passed away, Lithuanian Transport Safety Administration has ended their social campaign which encouraged young pupils to share their drawings on how they imagine a safety reflector which could save their lives in roads. With a beginning of a new academic year, winners of the contest have been awarded and reflectors based on their drawings are now being presented and will soon be available for more than 15 000 road users.
Every year more than 6 million passengers travel by intercity buses to reach their homes, works or holiday destinations. Only a small part of them use seat belts – to be more specific, only 13,9 % of passengers do follow safety instructions regarding seat belts. Lack of knowledge surely is not the main factor because more than 62% of travelers do know that they must wear seat belts.
Summer is coming, and with summer comes increased dangers in roads or railways. There are more children playing outside, drivers and passengers think about long-waited holidays and are prone to various distractions. Increased road and railway traffic coincides with a higher volume of traffic accidents.
The European Road Safety Charter workshop took place on Tuesday, 29 May 2018, at the Swedish Waterfront Congress Centre, Stockholm, Sweden.
The event was opened by Mr. Lars Olov Sjöström from Swedish Abstaining Motorists Association (MHF), the co-organiser of the event. Ms. Ylva Berg, from the Ministry of Enterprise and Innovation presented the Vision Zero strategy in Sweden, from its inception back in 1997, to its re-launch in 2016, as well as further developments planned to improve road safety in Sweden.
In its business operations, Compensa emphasises popularisation of both behaviours increasing safety on roads, as well as activities aimed at dissemination of knowledge with regard to first aid and rescue, as well as education in these areas. In the 3rd quarter of 2017, Compensa along with Road Safety Centre in Łódź began the social campaign "Bezpieczna Autostrada" ("Safe Motorway"), the main purpose of which is to increase safety on motorways.
