• "Be responsible on the street!" - kindergarten project

The EDIT Association, in partnership with the Walt Disney Company and the Romanian Police, has carried out the roadside education campaign "Be responsible on the street!", to support children aged 4-6, their parents and educators in the process learning safety rules and responsibilities on the street. Thus, 18,000 children from 180 kindergartens in Romania received educational materials in October to find out what the correct street behaviors are.
• Road Safety Class - public spaces events
We took The Safety Road Class further and organized some events, safety road based, in commercial spaces and parks characterized by intense traffic of people. Thereby, in the 2017-2018 school year, we developed 5 workshops from which 3 concerned safety road and the other 2 were first aid lessons.
In June of 2018, we organized an complex event of defensive driving in the parking lot of Bucharest Mall where we had safety road workshops, bike trails with obstacles, rally car and professional drivers together with the representatives of Romanian Police, promotions and lots of prizes for our supporters and another similar event in one of the most popular parks of Bucharest.

The Road Safety Class Layout Contest - 3rd and 4th graders
The Road Safety Class is not supposed to be only theory presented to the pupils. The Road Safety Class dynamically combines theory and practice, interactive games and real-life situations. In this regard, at the end of Road Safety Class, each classroom is invited to make a layout in which to implement everything they have learned within the classes. The best school layout will be chosen by it's school teachers in the first stage. After that, EDIT Association organize a popularity contest on Facebook for every district of Bucharest followed later by a popularity contest between the top three of each district. The winners are invited to the Award Ceremony where they receive mountain camps tickets for a week and other special prizes.
Award Ceremony of The Road Safety Class - 3rd and 4th graders
Starting from the 2nd Edition of Road Safety Class, every project has ended with an Award Ceremony where all the institutional partners, sponsors and the winning classes of The Road Safety Class Layout Contest, together with the pupils and their teachers and parents, have been invited. At the Award Ceremony, we reward with countless awards and with one week mountain camps, the best layouts chosen from all over the Bucharest's schools. These being said, Award Ceremony is also an opportunity to celebrate the end of the actual edition of Road Safety Class and look forward for the next one!
