PF ROAD SAFETY / IOT CONE & BEACON

Connecting our devices "PF LED ONE and PF CONE" to Motor For Transport Department in Spain (DGT) , Communications Service Provider and our server. Comply with DGT Legislation and Service Provider requirements. Lack of legislation within EU countries regarding the use of portable Road Safety "connected " beacons and cones. When activated, our products provide instant geolocation to; vehicles that have suffered an incident/accident, national control centres that supervise road works and hazard zones.

Design of PF LED ONE v16 Connected Road Safety beacon. We have produced the ONE and ONLY - V16 Connected beacon suitable for all types of vehicles, including vehicles that have side-roof rails, glass-roofs and scooters. PF LED ONE is the only road safety beacon in the world that cares about the environment - 100% ECO made of recycled materials and that has dual fixing system (magnetic and adhesive fixing). Patented Design of PF CONE. We produced the ONE and ONLY - IoT CONE in the world that connects to DGT (Motor for Transport in Spain). This cone will help Motor For Transport Department identify any area where an emergency has ocurred (including accidents, incidents, road work, natural disasters, fires, floods, etc..). Patented

What has been the effect of the activities?

Regulation over the use of the new V16 Road Safety beacon ,instead of road safety triangles, has now been approved by Motor For Transport Department from Spain (DGT) and will take effect next 1st July 2022. Thanks to PF LED ONE V16 more than 24 million drivers and bikers from Spain will be visible and protected whilst on the road. The need of stepping out of the vehicle to place road safety triangles on the tarmac when driver has suffered an accident or vehicle has broken down will be eliminated. PF LED ONE will reduce the risk of people being run over or hit by any incoming vehicle. We expect to drastically reduce road crashes, injuries and deaths. As a complement, and in order to improve road safety even more, our second development PF CONE will allow authorities to have instant information over road accidents, road checks, police controls, protect road maintenance workers and obtain information related to "how natural disasters are progressing or disappearing".

Please briefly explain why your initiative is a good example of improving road safety.

PF LED ONE and PF CONE are two great solutions that improve road safety and make a huge contribution to society. PF LED ONE provides information to Motor for Transport Department over "place of an accident", allowing DGT (Motor for Transport) to take action, reduce "response time" and inform other drivers about "accidents ahead" (using information panels situated on highways.) Thanks to the new V16 connected road safety beacon the risk for drivers to being run over after an accident or breakdown, is NIL. PF CONE, the one and only CONNECTED CONE in the world. Another great solution for Governments, Fire or Rescue Teams, or national entities that wish to geolocate certain areas, hazards or events.

How have you shared information about your project and its results?

Road Safety Charter, Spanish Governement, EUROPAPRESS, Press Releases, Videos on Social media, Linkedin, FB, Insta, Youtube, Trade Fairs such as MOTORTEC and TRAFIC - All at national level (Spain). Will spread the word on international markets soon. Receptivity at all levels, specially from users and local authorities, has been very positive.
