Kids Tour and learning materials for schools

- Parents are not safe enough with letting their kids bike on the roads - Kids think the roads are not safe - Drivers have to be more aware of children when they do not have a good awareness on the roads When kids are not safe on roads it effects Parents are not safe enough with letting their kids use their bikes on roads. We want the kids to have a good behavior in the traffic and we want to prepare them to Kids are not safe enough in the traffic. Parents has to learn them to use biking to schools. They have to know what to be aware of and how to act in traffic.

What has been the effect of the activities?

Please briefly explain why your initiative is a good example of improving road safety.

When kids learn road safety on bikes they get used to have a good road safety behavior. Denmark is a land of cyclists so to us it is very important to be aware of already from the childhood.

How have you shared information about your project and its results?

We have created a website for Kids Tour and on this site we also has described the learning materials for schools with a link to our website. On Facebook we have created a profile for Kids Tour where we share the events and link to articles etc. The municipalities helps us to inform schools and share the event on their sites. We are still
