Name of action

Organise a FlashMob event in Athens Syntagma SquareStart the preparation.Develop a core team of competent and engaged volunteers to dance and to support the action. Select and train them on the scope and objective of the event. Select a choreographer who will undertake to work together with the organizer and the volunteers to prepare the event. Together seek the music/song that will act as the basis of the message and the choreography. In our case we had also created a song dedicated to youth with road safety messages(Stop Running/Speeding).The choreographer we contacted, Mr. Fokas Evagelinos is a well known for his participation in Eurovisionand the Special Olympics 2004 events. The song we together with him selected, was composed and sungby young George Mylonas and had been used to “dress” a road safety campaign of RSI with theEuropean Representation of the EC in Greece. We identified the location of the event to take place and concluded with materials to be used. Wedecided the Syntagma Square as the most suitable place in the center of Athens. We informed the Authorities and asked for their permission to use the space and the Traffic Police to stopand control the traffic for the 5 minutes of the event.
