In this edition of our newsletter, we chose to shed some light on the European Commission's report focusing on road safety for cyclists, as summer usually ppresents seasonal peak for cycling fatalities.
The report includes the latest statitstics on cyclist crashes, initiatives put in place across Europe, and ways we can improve.
We then move on to the latest updates in road safety across the EU, most excitingly to our Excellence in Road Safety awards 2022 taking place on Monday 17 October in Brussels and Online. So make sure to register to attend and meet us there!
We then talk about other initiatives across Europe including the Charter at EU Safety, the impact of REPowerEU on road safety, the latest innovations from the TRIMIS search hub, and a new app from Toyota.
