The Latvian ambassador organises their national event on 17th of September from 09h00 until 15h00 (EEST) in Riga.
The seminar program will include four parts:
- Contribution of ERSC members to road safety
- Report of the European Road Safety Charter representative (in English)
Presentations of ERSC Latvian members
- New and updated available road safety data
- Road collision matrixes
- Road safety performance indicators
Practical use of new data sources
- Safety of road users and attitudes towards safety
- Experience in the analysis of serious road traffic accidents
- Results of the road user survey, comparison with other countries
Safety of cyclists, motorcyclists, children, seniors and other road users
- Road Safety in Latvia’s Municipalities – Safest Municipality and Safest City in 2025
- Analysis and assessment of road safety performance in Latvia’s municipalities and state city municipalities
- Road safety policy guidelines
Sufficient time will be allocated for questions and discussions. Working language – Latvian. Only the presentation of the ERSC representative will be in English.
