We train future drivers so that they are modern and safe drivers who also care about the environment. We conduct training in a much broader scope than required by local curricula. We use an electric car, a car with an automatic transmission. We take part in a special project of driving lessons on the motorway. Each student takes such classes as a standard part of the driving license course.

Autostrada Wielkopolska S.A. - The main organizer of the project Driving course on the motorway. The partner provides free motorway driving and educational materials.

From 2020, we conduct training using an electric car and a car with an automatic transmission. Since 2021, we have been participating in the "Driving course on the motorway" project for students.
Evaluation
What has been the effect of the activities?
Improving the awareness of people participating in the driving license course in the field of modern motorization and driving on high-speed roads.
Significant improvement in the results of the state driving license exams. Since the beginning of the modern training project, we have trained at least 500 people in the B category driving license. We continue and develop the project for other driving license categories.

Please briefly explain why your initiative is a good example of improving road safety.
Young people in driving schools usually only prepare for the state exam. We prepare them to obtain a driving license, but also show them safe driving techniques in modern vehicles. We teach them how to safely use the vehicles that they will drive among us after obtaining a driving license.
How have you shared information about your project and its results?
From the first contact with the car, we show course participants how important it is to take care of safety in various conditions and the ability to use modern vehicles, including electric vehicles. We promote knowledge and teach skills beyond the official training program. Our students after the completed course are very safe and conscious drivers.
