Ambassadors of Zavod VOZIM visited cities across Slovenia and distributed heroic guerrilla material on the terraces of the bars immediately after the re-opening (bars were closed due to COVID-19 restrictions).
Encouraging data show that in Slovenia, the mortality rate due to alcohol-related traffic incidents in the group of young drivers between the ages of 18 and 24 has decreased by 60%, which shows that young people are on the right track. Such a positive result was encouraged by the VOZIM Institute to plan future activities.
Zavod VOZIM, Institute for Innovative Education with its initiative Heroes drive in pajamas works very consciously to encourage young people to change their attitude towards drunk driving and strive to be safe and responsible drivers.
Slovenian private advertising company Siletra is launching a brand new web portal in the area of road safety prevention and safety. Together with local automobile clubs, companies, organizations and different field experts their mission is to raise awareness and educate about traffic education issues.
In our advertising company Siletra we also joined the organization of the road safety campaign “Stay bright” and invited two local schools (Osnovna šola Idrija – Podružnična šola Godovič in Zavratec)to participate, and we were very pleased with the actions in the Godovič kindergarten (Metuljčki and Pikapolonice group). Individual groups of children prepared creative cartoons and painted articles, either in the course of English language classes or other relevant subjects, whose main message was traffic safety and how to remain visible in traffic.
